Update

Okay, so thankfully things aren't as bad as the emergency room made them out to be.

He's doing good. He's got some medications to help him get through the various problems he's having with having a hernia.

He has surgery scheduled for March 28th and then he's off of work for two weeks after that. What that will mean for all of his training and everything I don't know yet. The only thing that he said about it was "I don't care if this messes up my deployment, I don't want to go anyway."

I'm disappointed that he's going to have to deal with this for more than 2 weeks before being able to have surgery, but I'm also glad that things have quit this chaotic running around.

Greg's doing well, despite being drastically annoyed with the whole thing. He's getting around well and there's been a number of times where he's walked around without holding himself in.

I'm sleeping better for the most part. I'm not looking forward to surgery, especially the few days after. But I'm glad I'm here and able to support him through this.

I can tell he's feeling much better, because he's gone back strong on to the pursuit for the truck. We've kind of settled on one that we found - but we have to go test drive it. Its a 94 Dodge 1500. It needs paint and new tires both of which are not that much of a problem when the selling price is $1500. It's much less than our budget for the truck. Which would leave money for other things like fixing it up (or fixing the laptop.... yeah). We're going to try and go test drive it today at lunch, if he can get enough time to go. It's way on the north side, so we'll see what happens!
